Amp setup
Which of these do you want to run in stereo?
Tap a pedal to run it in stereo — it turns green and moves to the very end of the chain, the last loops before your amps. On a G3 each takes a pair of loops (left + right); on an Atom the loop switches to stereo over TRS cables.
Do you use your amp’s own gain channel?
The four-cable method puts your amp’s preamp in its own switcher loop, so every preset can choose between pedal drives and amp gain — or stack them.
Where does your modulation sit?
A phaser or flanger in front of the gain makes the sweep push the amp — that’s the EVH sound. After the drives is the classic setting.
How do you like to switch?
Always-on pedals
Tap anything that stays on all the time — it sits outside the switching, so it doesn’t need a loop.
Your gain stages — low to high
We’ve ordered your gain pedals from lowest to highest gain — the classic way to stack. Rearrange to taste; this becomes your loop order.
