The GigRig Isolator

TheGigRig Isolator is the crowning glory of our modular power supply solution.

Each of the Isolator's 4 outputs deliver a very clean, isolated 9v DC supply and it is engineered to provide the ultimate power for your 9v pedals.
Its compact, lightweight design also helps keep your pedalboard light, small and free from bulky/heavy power supplies.

Using a combination of the Generator, Distributors, Isolators and Adapters, the system can be configured to provide isolated power to nearly every pedal and every voltage out there.

Setting the Isolator(s) up on your pedal board is easy. Each Isolator comes with 4 cut-to-length solderless dc power cables. You simply cut the dc cables to the length you need, then plug the cables into the terminal block. The black side goes into the black tab and the white stripe side goes into the white tab. Press each tab down and the cables are connected, there's no need for solder!

Designed to work as part of The GigRig Modular Power Supply, you can power as many Isolators as you need using the Generator and Distributor.

    gig rig power supply

Posted by Mike Basler on 24th Jun 2020

For a pedalboard newbie starting out a build was a daunting project but not only did the gig rig team give me the right advice they also kindly offered this NHS worker a deal. They did not need to do that. I spent a few days and watched many of Dans pedalboard builds ( essential in my opinion) to put together a thing of beauty. It is so quiet that I have now ditched my Boss Noise suppressor and put a Triangular Big Muff in its space, Thanks Dan and the team

    No more noise

Indispensable for cutting ground loops in your signal chain, no matter what power requirements your pedals have. No need to daisy chain your pedals because your expensive power brick only has a limited number of isolated outputs. With this, you can create as many isolated outputs as you need. No compromise!

    Does what It says!

Works perfectly with my MXR iso-power, avoiding the need for any daisy chaining. The clamps are fiddly to close, but love the that it makes it easy to have power leads the right length.

Great solution for my previously noisy pedals. Fits conveniently under my board and is easy to use.

Bought as part of a power supply for my new pedal board, and it works perfectly. the connection to the distributor and then on to the pedals is simple.
The unit itself is very compact and sits under my pedal board nicely.
I will buy another one of these for my board, as I couldn't afford one at the time of buying everything else. I guess this is the beauty of a modular system.

This unit seems to work fine with my t-rex chameleon power supply, and all the pedals connected seem to run quiet. You get long lengths of cable, so you have no worries finding a connection anywhere on a large board, the unit itself is light weight, and when the wires are clamped in, they wont come back out to easy so no worries there either. I think these guys are very smart, and they have all 'grounds' covered with theyre products. Now i just gotta add the generator and distributor!!

Bought 2 to go with my power pack 1, so can now run 8 pedals noise free and have no issues with lack of power or ground loops, will order another for an external wah, expensive but worth it and with the modular system get it when you can afford it and build your system as you go, definitely recommend.
